Posted September 8, 201510 yr Hi. I created a block with a tile entity and in the custom renderer i cannot make it rotate like say, a chest, that always faces the player in the right direction. Is there a simple way to do this, as getBlockMetadata() returns always 0.
September 8, 201510 yr Do you have a render class with something like doRender()? If so just use GL11.rotateF(0,1,0,angle); "you seem to be THE best modder I've seen imo." ~spynathan ლ(́◉◞౪◟◉‵ლ
September 8, 201510 yr theBest108's post is useless, as the OP isn't getting a metadata value by which to rotate by. Anyway, take a look at BlockFurnace's onBlockPlaced method.
