Setting up MCP-Workspace for old Forge versions[1.5.2&1.6.4]

Hey everyone - i am trying to set up a mcp-workspace for 1.6.4 and 1.5 but somehow it failes with this error:

Now im asking if there is a possibility to download a working MCP-Environment using the new gradle system or any other way of getting an mcp workspace. Hope that somebody can help me - ItsAMysterious

You CAN still work with old versions, but the download url has changed and the build scripts for all those versions was not updated. A little research cam uncover the new url, and you can insert it into the old build config file (I forget where) and it will work.

 

But again, why?

Im writing a Mod for a uge company for all MC-Versions the newest and the old versions, thats why i need the old workspace.

I don't think anyone uses 1.5.x anymore. 1.6.x is going to be very rare (and there is a gradle version).
