Posted May 16, 20169 yr Hello Forge community, I'm new to modding Minecraft and I'm trying to make a simple mod via a tutorial. At some point the tutorial tells me to go to "Referenced Libraries", but I don't even have that in the project viewer. To show what I mean, here's a cut screenshot of my screen: https://www.dropbox.com/s/y9wqwnfd7i2fdp1/screen.png?dl=1[/img] Does anyone know what happened and/or how to fix this? I really seem to need it. Additional info: I unpackages the mdk from Minecraft Forge's recommended version (11.14.4.1563), checked its checksum and it appears to be okay. I ran "gradlew setupDecompWorkspace" within the unpackaged folder from a cmd.exe with Admin privileges, after that I also ran "gradlew eclipse" the same way. Following, I had the latest version of Eclipse open the "eclipse" folder in the unpackaged folder, I added some files and ran the mod via Eclipse once. Only after that I checked wether "Referenced Libraries" would be there, and it isn't. EDIT: Fixed spelling and removed set font.
May 16, 20169 yr Do you even code, or you just randomly thought "Let's make a mod!" Referenced libs are literally those you see in picture. e.g: forgeSrc is lib that holds all mc and forge files. As to "seeing" what you want - change eclipse view to either "Java" or "Java EE". 1.7.10 is no longer supported by forge, you are on your own.
May 16, 20169 yr Sometimes "Referenced Libraries" shows up as a folder (with forgeSrc, launchwrapper, etc) inside it, other times they just end up in a giant list. I literally have no idea why as I had two computers that had installed the same version of the MDK and one ended up with the folder and the other didn't. Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
