Posted June 2, 20169 yr I have a recipe where I combine three obsidian with my item to make a more durable version, but the new item has a reset damage value. I have googled and found things stating an "IRecipe" but I have no idea how to use it to achieve this. Can anybody help? Thanks.
June 2, 20169 yr Make class, implements it and register. IRecipe allows returning result that can be altered by ingredients - so e.g you can check ingredient NBT or damage and transfer it over to result. Where is the problem? 1.7.10 is no longer supported by forge, you are on your own.

June 2, 20169 yr Make a class that implements IRecipe. Let your IDE auto-implement stub methods for the interface. Look at the name of each stub and its return type. Write those methods to do what you want them to. Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.
