VANILLA MINECRAFT CLASSES ARE THE BEST RESOURCES WHEN MODDING I will be posting 1.15.2 modding tutorials on this channel. If you want to be notified of it do the normal YouTube stuff like subscribing, ect. Forge and vanilla BlockState generator.
September 24, 20168 yr Author I registered the item model with Main.proxy.registerItemRenderer(block, 0, "pedestalblock"); and bound the TESR to the tile entity with ClientRegistry.bindTileEntitySpecialRenderer(PedestalTileEntity.class, new PedestalTESR()); not sure how to register the the renderer.
September 24, 20168 yr Put a breakpoint here: https://github.com/Janellope/DigiCraft/blob/master/src/main/java/janellope/digicraft/client/render/blocks/PedestalTESR.java#L99 Is the item stack ever not null (at this point in the client side code)? Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
September 24, 20168 yr Author Ok, so there was an easy fix, I was not implementing ItemModelProvider but now the call GL11.GL_SMOOTH, GL11.GL_FLAT, and GL11.GL_QUADS are crashing the game. crash report here: http://pastebin.com/L3ECdbui I removed the "handle" renders and it works fine now.
