So a friend of mine has been working on a custom made mod for me and himself for a project we're working on, but the mod is only compatible in single player minecraft. Since neither of us is experienced with this, I just wanted to ask around and see if anyone has encountered this before and/or has any solutions on how I'd go able making his mod workable on a multiplayer server.

The version of forge we are running on is 1.7.10.

1) 1.7.10 is no longer supported by Forge

2) If you build things right, single player and multiplayer are identical. The problem you have is that you've assumed that the client and server are running on the same thread (bad, bad idea, even for Single Player) and thus don't differentiate between Client and Server worlds/entities.  You need to discriminate using a Proxy and Packet Handlers.

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked.

DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
