Error when trying to run minecraft from IntelijIDEA after environment setup.

I have tried to set up the forge environment using Terminal-free IntelliJ IDEA configuration as stated in the Forge Documentation. After following these steps when I try to run Minecraft from the drop down I get this error:

Error:gradle-resources-test:testtest_main: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/tools/ant/util/ReaderInputStream

 

I tried Invalidating the Caches and Restarting but then when I try to launch I just get this crash log:

I have tried this with both the latest version and recommended versions of Forge for 1.10.2 and have also tried with IntelijIDEA EAP 2017.1 and 2016 versions.

 

*I am aware 1.10.2 is not the latest version of Minecraft but it the most commonly modded at this point in time.* I have also tried the same thing with 1.11.2 and get the same results.

 

Any help to fix this would be appreciated.

Isn't this problem solved by disabling the loading screen?

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

Download forge-1.10.2-12.18.3.2185-mdk / forge-1.10.2-12.18.3.2221-mdk

 

Extract the contents into a folder.

 

Open InteliJ IDEA

 

Import new project - Direct to build.gradle file.

 

Use jdk1.8.0_121

 

Let it do its thing.

 

Open the gradle panel and run setUpDecompWorkspace with 3GB of ram

 

then run genIntelijRuns

 

Refresh

 

Select the client from the drop down and edit the classpath to the _main version.

 

Run it then get the crash.

I can confirm to the same thing is happening to me, maybe its the new nvidia drivers because I started to get this error after driver update.

 

I'll try to downgrade the drivers
