Posted June 29, 201213 yr I just wanted to say thanks to the creators/maintainers/contributors of forge. This is an incredible API. I can't imagine the skill and patience that it must have taken to create it, and how much more it takes to deal with newbs that have probably asked every question there is to ask at least 100 times... Without spoilers. D: I plan to make some donations at some point when I can. I can't say for sure when. For now though, I just wanted to express my appreciation and deepest respects to all who manage forge and the forums. [/sappiness](I tend to get caught up in these things) ------------ non-related about me stuff Well, I guess this is a bit more than a simple thank-you. But at least this part's optional! I plan on learning more about code as it's always been one of my more intense interests and ambitions. I attend college for it, but I've only just got through my first semester. In the long-term, I hope it can land me a decent-paying job. On the side, I hope to one day have the skills to contribute something to either forge, or at least something useful to the Minecraft community. Games have always been a huge part of my inspiration, and since I've begun playing Minecraft with mods, that inspiration has been further refined. And forge itself adds quite a bit to it as well. tl;dr - Thanks. Check out my Texture Packs Thread here on the Forge Forum. Currently in the process of adding some mod support for JohnSmith Texture Pack. https://www.sugarsync.com/piv/D8135159_67366891_21351[/img] https://www.sugarsync.com/piv/D8135159_67366891_772852[/img]
June 29, 201213 yr 0.o You're welcome... I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. Consider supporting the team on Patreon
June 29, 201213 yr Author 0.o You're welcome... I've never seen a thread dedicated to thanking you guys is all, which I felt was deserved. Did I go overboard? Should I have taken someone out to dinner first? Anyway, I meant it. A lot of the most game-changing (for the better) mods are made possible because of forge. Not that you need me to tell you that. Keep up the fantastic work. Check out my Texture Packs Thread here on the Forge Forum.
