I have a problem. When I install optifine with forge, the game usually stops working and crashes, forcing me to click "close program" or "end process". It doesn't give me any crash reports.

Then it says on launcher screen: "An unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed. We're sorry for the inconvenience."

When I take out optifine from the folder, forge works fine.

All my nvidia drivers are up to date.

I degraded the drivers and upgraded them again, the issue is still there.

When I install optifine as a separate version, both forge and optifine work by themselves.

Save me!

Report this to the Optfine author. Optfine is the one who does a lot of shady stuff around Forge.

Don't PM me with questions. They will be ignored! Make a thread on the appropriate board for support.

1.7.10 and older versions of Minecraft are no longer supported due to it's age! Update to the latest version for support.

Ya, there isn't much we can do to help you. Optifine is a thing that just hacks into A LOT of internal stuff. And we've tried to expose as much as we can to help him. But he's closed source, and doesn't talk or submit issues. So ya, can't do anything.

Plus the fact that MOST users don't get any performance out of Optifine. Oh well.

Make your choice, Optifine or Forge. We've done our best.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
