Im new to this minecraft thing and you guys are doing an amazing work.

Usually how long does it take for a new version of Forge to come out for the most recent version of Minecraft?

The server that i play updated to 1.12.1 and i cant use mods anymore :/

1.12.1 was (from what I've read) pretty much a bugfix release, so not a lot was changed. Don't expect it this quick when major releases come around, it can take a few weeks+ depending on how much changes. Just keep working on whatever the last stable version was, and keep checking the download page! :)

But the they said that their SERVER updated their version, so we don't really get any choice in what version we play if we want to play on a specific server.

(Which is the situation I am in since the server I play on just updated to 1.12.2)

      Do you have shaders enabled? There is an issue with the mod simpleclouds - remove this mod or disable shaders, if enabled

      Maybe you need to create file in assets/<modid>/items/<itemname>.json with content like this:   { "model": { "type": "minecraft:model", "model": "modname:item/itemname" } }
