We are seeing some weird behavior on a SP hosted LAN game when the host computer has any Forge version above 1.12.2.2537 where players that join when the game is opened to LAN connect but then immediately disconnect.  The LAN players can have newer versions of Forge (currently in our testing they are running 2545) and connect fine, but only if the host machine has the older version.  When they get disconnected this is what is spit out in the log:

Does this happen every time?

Is this a plain Forge server, or with mods installed?

If there are mods, does it still happen with just Forge?

This should be fixed, can you try build 2548+ and see if hosting a LAN world with that version works correctly?

Well yes we have over 200+ mods but updating to the recommended forge version now fixes the issue.

While the newest version of forge fixed the disconnect issue, it has broken the Fluxed Network mod with this issue: https://github.com/SonarSonic/Flux-Networks/issues/156

We have dropped back down to Forge 2537 and are awaiting a fix.

Ya, the point is that it cleans up its buffers now, So mods that hold on to it will need to update. Not much we can do about that besides re-introducing the bug :/

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
