Hi! 
So uhm... I've been playing Minecraft for the past 5 years (Yea I know, not that long) and I've JUST figured out how to make a minecraft server WITH mods. I've figured out how to add mods, run the server etc, but I'm not quite sure on how to add plugins? (Be is from sponge or bukkit - though I'd rather use the ones from bukkit)

In addition, I've started up my server and I've attempted to connect to it, though it seems to crash the minute I join...
Anyways, uhm.. I could use a little help because I'm super unsure on how to go on now.

 

Here's the crash report:

 

The mods I have for the server are:

  • Better Foliage
  • BiblioCraft
  • BiblioWoods (BiomeOPlenty)
  • Biomes O Plenty
  • Mr Crayfish's mod
  • colour chat
  • Custom NPCs
  • Decocraft 2
  • Fairy Lights
  • k4lib
  • more player models
  • optifine
  • pams harvest craft
  • SanchanCustomMods V1 and V2

Keep in mind this is all for forge & minecraft 1.11.2

MrCrayfish's furniture mod is broken, trying to access client-only code on a server... in what appears to be a side-check?

 

Edit: This was fixed already! In this commit. Where are you getting the mod?

This is my Forum Signature, I am currently attempting to transform it into a small guide for fixing easier issues using spoiler blocks to keep things tidy.

 

As the most common issue I feel I should put this outside the main bulk:

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan.

 

For players asking for assistance with Forge please expand the spoiler below and read the appropriate section(s) in its/their entirety.

I just tweeted him about it, his site has the wrong version listed as latest, you want 4.1.3 from the "Old Versions" dropdown.

In relation to plugins:

if you really want to use bukkit plugins then jump off a cliff so you are good and dead, now you can run a 1.7.10 Cauldron server and get 0 support for anything 

alternatively you just throw SpongeForge’s jar in the mods folder as described by their docs

 

please be advised, i do not actually recommend jumping off a cliff but it’s a good metaphor IMO
