Hello guys.

 

A year before forge was working. (I redownloaded Windows)
I now get always a fault message.
I deleted all the versions and redownloaded forge.

And I get this message: the version your trying to play, Has things from other versions.
That is weird because I have 0 mods in it. And I even didn't downloaded it.

after you download forge the first time you join it you again download things, And that doesn't work

I don't have logs because I can't use it.

If you don't have logs at least post a screenshot of the crash or something. And I've /never/ seen an error saying "has things from other versions". . .if you're going to quote an error without a log or screenshot, make sure you quote it 100% accurately.

Also, where did you download forge from? Hopefully it was files.minecraftforge.net

 

We have nothing to go on, so there's no way anyone could help you with just this information!

Did, I use in in anather laungage so I didn't know how to spell in in the English.
But I posted an screenshots.
I downloaded it from the Forge website

I searched these forums for "unknown version" (including the quotes), and it seems you need to run vanilla 1.12.2, then uninstall/reinstall forge. Give that a try, hope it works!

Do you mean that I must run normal 1.12.2?

 

Before installing forge you must run the vanilla version corresponding to the version of forge you want to install.

Correct. After you do that, reinstall forge and see if it works.

Running vanilla first should not be required if you are using the vanilla launcher and a modern forge installer.
