FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.

* What went wrong:
Could not determine java version from '10.0.2'.

* Try:
Run with --stacktrace option to get the stack trace. Run with --info or --debug option to get more log output.

'--info' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Everytime i try to use gradlew this happends

and i used gradlew setupDecompworkspace

and said the same thing

Windows hides file extensions by default so the installer may appear without the .jar extension then when the .log is added the log will appear with the .jar extension

Where to get it:

Mojang Launcher: When using the Mojang launcher debug.log is found in .minecraft\logs.

Curse/Overwolf: If you are using the Curse Launcher, their configurations break Forge's log settings, fortunately there is an easier workaround than I originally thought, this works even with Curse's installation of the Minecraft launcher as long as it is not launched THROUGH Twitch:

Because Forge's MDK ships with a very old version of Gradle, one that was not designed to be compatible with Java 9+ AFAIK.

If you need to keep Java 10 on your computer I believe Gradle will use whatever Java installation that the JAVA_HOME environment variable points to.

You can also just modify your /gradle/wrapper/gradle-wrapper.properties file

change the distributionUrl line to

distributionUrl=https\://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-4.8.1-bin.zip

You will still need java 8 for writing the mod though, this only allows gradle to use java 10

  Hi everyone, I’m new to Minecraft mod development, although I’ve already created some small things using Java and Forge. Currently, I’m trying to make an addon for the mod The Hordes (version 1.20.1), but I’ve run into a lot of issues. After some research, I found out that creating a proper addon usually requires the base mod to have a public API or a specific dev / deobf version available. I’m not sure if The Hordes provides that, or if I’m just not setting up my environment correctly. What I’d like to do is expand the infection cure mechanic from the mod — adding new healing items, crafting recipes, or maybe a special crafting table for advanced cures. The goal is to give the player more ways to resist or cure the infection with variety and progression. I tried downloading the .jar file (and even cloning the GitHub repository) to use it as a dependency in my own mod, but I’m getting lots of errors and can’t get it to work properly. Is there any way to achieve this without creating a full addon? Or am I on the right path but missing something in the setup? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

  removed the mod and i got this crash https://mclo.gs/3lzH6Fj i disabled the mod and it was the same crash something about there not being a lead ignot then i disabled craftewer and recipe stage stuff like that might use lead ignot still the same crash
