Posted August 26, 20187 yr I'm just wondering, since it's considered "outdated". Since some of the most important mods in my modpack are either still in 1.7.10 or they're in newer versions, but none of them are the same version.
August 26, 20187 yr Update, its a simple concept. You can still play whatever you want, but if you want support for it update. Think of it like any other piece of software, nobody is gunna stop you from booting up a Windows 3.11 machine. But do you expect to go to Microsoft and have them actively supporting you? I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. Consider supporting the team on Patreon
August 26, 20187 yr That mods are on 1.7.x because the modders are lazy or simply give up with modding. And supporting a version released June 26, 2014 (4 years, 2 months according to timeanddate.com, 4 major versions behind) is just wasting precious disk and processing power of the forum, let alone time of Forge devs and moderators.

This 100% Once people stop downloading 1.7.x mods then their authors will be forced to quit or update. https://github.com/CAS-ual-TY/Visibilis [1.14] How to Villagers, Trades, Professions, Fix Trades https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/gun-customization-infinity / https://github.com/CAS-ual-TY/GunCus https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/ygo-dueling-mod https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/mundus-magicus https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/deuf-duplicate-entity-uuid-fix
