My console shows me problems with my blockstates-jsons.

What´s now the right setup for a file with only one state (it doesn´t know "normal" any more)?

And what for a file with 4 states (north, east, south, west)

but i have that json file in my resources and it is spelled correctly.

so i don´t know why it does not find it.

it seems like, i have to change something in the blockstate-json, but i don´t know what.

And with the egg-block it´s a different error:

According to https://gist.github.com/williewillus/353c872bcf1a6ace9921189f6100d09a#rendering-changes, "normal" is no longer a valid variant, and "" should be used instead.

(That entire document is worth reading carefully, multiple times)

It seems like it does not register, what i changed in my jsons...

i still get the error with the egg-block, but i already changed it.

this is how the blockstate looks now.

Yay, eclipse. You need to refresh your project every time you change a file outside eclipse. Or, you can open the file in eclipse (Eclipse has a JSON plugin)

Resources tend to get missed when they're changed. Eclipse is not very good about moving them over when they're the only thing that had changed. The code is the same, so eclipse assumes that nothing else is different.

Changed "inside" a resource is the same as "changed the resource."

You either need to do a Clean action, then build, or change some (java) code.

as example error is referencing you to location

angrybirdsmod:models/balloon_block.json

have you been trying to put block model in there? not inside models/block folder but indirectly inside models/ ?

you're having your textures in textures/block not in textures/blockS that's why minecraft cannot find them

somewhere i found an info-sheet, that says, that resource-packs for 1.13.2 have to be changed to "block" and "item" instead of "blocks" and "items" in the textures area.

and I have working datapacks from that format on my pc.

and model-jsons never are directly in a "models" folder.

they are always in the "block" and "item" folders there
