Posted March 1, 20196 yr Hello guys, I'm trying to get familiar with the .json recipe system and I've ran into a small problem. I've been trying to create a recipe file for an item that includes 2 different shapeless crafting recipes. According to a json validator I use it is in fact of valid format. Still, when I launch the game the recipes don't seem to be registered. I am new to modding and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks cookie_dough.json

If you want two recipes, you need two recipe(file)s. And just because a JSON validator said "yep, that's valid JSON" does not mean that it is a valid recipe. Recipes have a specific structure to them. For example, this is valid JSON: { "parent": "block/cross", "textures": { "cross": "blocks/reeds" } } But it is not a valid recipe. March 1, 20196 yr Author Wait... Don't I have to name the json file after the recipe result? If so what should I name the second recipe file?
