1.7.10 is no longer supported on this forum due to its age.

Update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.

How do I do that? I know it is probably very simple but I am bad with tech.

Play a version of Minecraft above 1.10.

1.12.2, for example.

Ok I updated it and put the orespawn zip into the Minecraft mod folder, but the orespawn isn't loading. It isn't crashing but it just isn't there. Well it's there but it isn't going into the game.

You need to install OreSpawn for 1.12.2.

Versions below 1.14.4 are no longer supported on this forum. Use the latest version to receive support.

When asking support remember to include all relevant log files (logs are found in .minecraft/logs/), code if applicable and screenshots if possible.

Only download mods from trusted sites like CurseForge (minecraft.curseforge.com). A list of bad sites can be found here, with more information available at stopmodreposts.org

I clicked download and it went to downloads and when it was finished loading I clicked it but it won't open.

I don't think we're talking about the same thing actually. I'm talking about the one with 4 dimensions, big bertha sword, more mobs etc

I think he is talking about the mod by @TheyCallMeDanger

OreSpawn does not have a 1.12.2 version; the latest is 1.7.10.

Can anyone send me a link to 1.12.2 orespawn mod? I can't find it

Does not exist (at least not from the original author).

His major reason for not updating past 1.7 was that the mod got too huge and cumbersome to continue porting to newer versions.

This is my Forum Signature, I am currently attempting to transform it into a small guide for fixing easier issues using spoiler blocks to keep things tidy.

As the most common issue I feel I should put this outside the main bulk:

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan.

For players asking for assistance with Forge please expand the spoiler below and read the appropriate section(s) in its/their entirety.
