Posted June 13, 20196 yr I am making a water-loggable block in Forge 1.14 but modelbakery throws no variant exception. I want to know how to make model loader ignore the property? In 1.12 I can use ModelLoader#setCustomStateMapper but there is no this method in 1.14. Edited June 14, 20196 yr by Snownee Update status
June 14, 20196 yr Water logging is rendered separately from json models. If your block has a non-empty fluid state in it, fluid will be rendered in it. Statemappers do not exist past 1.12.2. If you want to ignore a property, just don’t use it at all in your BlockState json.
