Hi, I'm relatively new to coding mods. I did a lot of coding plugins but wanted a change. Anyway, I was watching a tutorial on how to make a Minecraft 1.12.2 mod and did everything he did and when I went to run my demo, I got an error saying "Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: Using incremental CMS is deprecated and will likely be removed in a future release" I looked up the error and found some solves but none that worked for me. Here is my code. Sorry If this post is messy.

Shining example of why these tutorials are so bad.

Do you know why this happened?

This is my Forum Signature, I am currently attempting to transform it into a small guide for fixing easier issues using spoiler blocks to keep things tidy.

As the most common issue I feel I should put this outside the main bulk:

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan.

For players asking for assistance with Forge please expand the spoiler below and read the appropriate section(s) in its/their entirety.

Yes... do you know what each of the values should be and why?

This is why these tutorials are so bad, they just say "Do what I do" without telling you why, then they have you use extra things that do nothing to help you and often create issues further down the line.

Cadiboo is making a text-based tutorial that in my opinion is a ton much better than most YouTube tutorials and I've only just skimmed it.

Thanks! But how do I fix my problem?

This is not your error. Its just the last thing the JVM vomits up when shutting down. It will always do this. It will do this even when quitting the game normally when there are no problems. Trying to "solve" this error is pointless. Its not even an error. It says so. It's a warning.

As such, making your thread title a thing that isn't your problem helps no one.
