Trying to install Redstone Power V2.0 PR6.

Sequence:

1. Removed META-INF

2. Installed ModLoader 1.5.1.

3. Installed Minecraft Forge 7.7.1.661

4. Removed META-INF again.

5. Ran Minecraft. Success!

6. Added Redstone Power 2 Core .zip to the mod folders.

7. Ran Minecraft. Black Screen. Sad face.

Adding the mod files crashes the whole thing. I suspect that it's due to a version change in Minecraft, but I wanted to get some expert opinions on this. It appears that it's not finding the classes associated with some of the objects in Eloraam's code. Any help you can give would be appreciated.

Here's the log file.

Thanks, in advance.

Caused by: java.lang.VerifyError: Cannot inherit from final class

I say you go haunt #redpower or you uninstall the mod.

Read the EAQ before posting! OR ELSE!

This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project.

Also don't install ModLoader besides Forge. Ever.

This thread makes me sad because people just post copy-paste-ready code when it's obvious that the OP has little to no programming experience. This is not how learning works.

No one picked up on the obvious fact that they are trying to install Redpower for 1.4.6 on Minecraft 1.5.1?

In short: Redpower is not compatible with 1.5.1 yet.
