I've been trying to make a player say an array which is divided in sentences, they should say a sentence every 3 seconds, I've done everything but it seems that variable[0] crashes Minecraft when said.

So I tried it with a normal string, and it caused no errors. So I'm asking if there is a way to be able to make a player say an Array.

	boolean Start = true;
	int ticks = 0;
	int seconds = 0;
	int sentence = 1;

	@SubscribeEvent
	public void sing(TickEvent e) {
		String[] Revenge = ("Creeper.Aww man.So we back in the mine.Got our pickaxe swinging from side to side.Side-side to side.This task, a grueling one.Hope to find some diamonds tonight, night, night.Diamonds tonight.Heads Up.You hear a sound, turn around and look up.Total shock fills your body.Oh no, it's you again.I can never forget those eyes, eyes, eyes.Eyes-eyes-eyes.'Cause baby, tonight.The creeper's trying to steal all our stuff again.'Cause baby, tonight.Grab your pick, shovel, and bolt again (Bolt again-gain).And run, run until it's done, done.Until the sun comes up in the morn'.'Cause baby, tonight.The creeper's trying to steal all our stuff again (Stuff again-gain).Just when you think you're safe.Overhear some hissing from right behind.Right-right behind.That's a nice life you have. Shame it's gotta end at this time, time, time.Time-time-time-time.Blows up.Then your health bar drops and you could use a one-up.Get inside, don't be tardy.So now you're stuck in there.Half a heart is left, but don't die, die, die.Die-die-die.'Cause baby, tonight.The creeper's trying to steal all our stuff again.'Cause baby, tonight.The creeper's trying to steal our stuff again.Creepers, you're mine, haha.Dig up diamonds,.And craft those diamonds,.And make some armor,.Get it baby, go and forge that like you so MLG pro.The sword's made of diamonds, so come at me bro.Huh? Training in your room under the torchlight.Hone that form to get you ready for the big fight.Every single day and the whole night.Creeper's put prowlin', woo, alright.Look at me, look at you.Take my revenge, that's what I'm going to do.I'm a warrior, baby, what else is new?.And my blade's gonna tear through you, bring it.'Cause baby, tonight.The creeper's trying to steal all our stuff again.'Cause, baby, tonight.Grab your pick, shovel and bolt again (Bolt again-gain, woo).And run, run until it's done, done.Until the sun comes up in the morn'.'Cause, baby, tonight (Come on, swing your sword up high).The creeper's trying to steal all our stuff again (Come on, jab your sword down low).(Woo)").split(".");

		EntityPlayerSP p = Minecraft.getMinecraft().player;

		if (Start == true) {
			if (ticks < 1000) {
				ticks = ticks + 1;
			} else {
				seconds = seconds + 1;
				ticks = 0;
			}
			if (seconds >= 3) {
				p.sendChatMessage(Revenge[sentence]);
				sentence = sentence + 1;
				seconds = 0;

			}

		}
	}

}

1. Do you know Java?

2. Use for loop to iterate through the array.

3. EntityPlayerSP is for client only. Getting player with Minecraft.getMinecraft().player will crash on a dedicated server.

4. Instead of creating another variable for seconds, you could just check whether ticks is larger than 3000.

1. Do not follow tutorials on YouTube, especially TechnoVision (previously called Loremaster) and HarryTalks, due to their promotion of bad practice and usage of outdated code.

2. Always post your code.

3. Never copy and paste code. You won't learn anything from doing that.

1. Read the EAQ before asking for help. Remember to provide the appropriate log(s).

2. Versions below 1.11 are no longer supported due to their age. Update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.

    • When I first heard about Bitcoin back in 2018, I was skeptical. The idea of a decentralized, digital currency seemed too good to be true. But I was intrigued as I learned more about the technology behind it and its potential. I started small, investing just a few hundred dollars, dipping my toes into the cryptocurrency waters. At first, it was exhilarating to watch the value of my investment grow exponentially. I felt like I was part of the future, an early adopter of this revolutionary new asset. But that euphoria was short-lived. One day, I logged into my digital wallet only to find it empty - my Bitcoin had vanished without a trace. It turned out that the online exchange I had trusted had been hacked, and my funds were stolen. I was devastated, both financially and emotionally. All the potential I had seen in Bitcoin was tainted by the harsh reality that with decentralization came a lack of regulation and oversight. My hard-earned money was gone, lost to the ether of the digital world. This experience taught me a painful lesson about the price of trust in the uncharted territory of cryptocurrency. While the technology holds incredible promise, the risks can be catastrophic if you don't approach it with extreme caution. My Bitcoin investment gamble had failed, and I was left to pick up the pieces, wiser but poorer for having placed my faith in the wrong hands. My sincere appreciation goes to MUYERN TRUST HACKER. • You could try posting a log (if there is no log at all, it may be the launcher you are using, the FAQ may have info on how to enable the log) as described in the FAQ, however this will probably need to be reported to/remedied by the mod author.
    • So me and a couple of friends are playing with a shitpost mod pack and one of the mods in the pack is corail tombstone and for some reason there is a problem with it, where on death to fire the player will get kicked out of the server and the tombstone will not spawn basically deleting an entire inventory, it doesn't matter what type of fire it is, whether it's from vanilla fire/lava, or from modded fire like ice&fire/lycanites and it's common enough to where everyone on the server has experienced at least once or twice and it doesn't give any crash log. a solution to this would be much appreciated thank you!
    • It is 1.12.2 - I have no idea if there is a 1.12 pack
