Posted February 19, 20205 yr Which forge version should I use to start modding with the current times? If anyone could let me know, I would appreciate that, I would assume it would be 1.15 or something like that, but I just want to be sure. Edited February 19, 20205 yr by Entonez
February 19, 20205 yr Always mod for the latest version of Minecraft (in this case, 1.15.2) Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
February 19, 20205 yr If your mod is successful then you can always backport in the future. The best way to code a mod is to write it for the latest version and do your best to make it is future proof as possible by abstracting what you can and always using the most up to date way of doing stuff.
