So... I need help

Its simple, but not for me. Iam finding for Fu***** 2 hours to find how to download this MC launcher: 14.23.5.2803 (its forge, because i want mods to it)

And i dont know if iam retarded or where is misstake...

If you help me i will love you guys <3

Okay, i download latest version of 1.12.2, the file will install, i open it and than it shows little window named "Mod system installer" so i click on install client, and than it shows me "Successfully installed bla-bla-bla to you launcher, but i want to install that fockin launcher...

Yea, but iam finding launcher, like warez launcher for this where are mods and stuff. I know it was made by forge, when you was starting it, in rightdown corner was hammer and anvil, iam findung this :)

Stop it with the text formatting and please try to speak proper English as best you can, I'm having trouble understanding you.

It sounds like you're expecting Forge to install a launcher when all it does is install Forge in a way that Mojang's launcher sees Forge as if it was a Minecraft version.

This is my Forum Signature, I am currently attempting to transform it into a small guide for fixing easier issues using spoiler blocks to keep things tidy.

 

As the most common issue I feel I should put this outside the main bulk:

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan.

 

For players asking for assistance with Forge please expand the spoiler below and read the appropriate section(s) in its/their entirety.

When you are in Menu it looks like that:

1.12 is no longer supported on this forum due to age.

Please update to a modern version to receive support.
