My Mod's Achievements Duplicate Stat id's

Xwaffle

Recommended Posts

Alright, i've made an Achievement mod that adds Achievements to the mod Pixelmon (pixelmonmod.com). The mod works perfectly fine and runs flawless the first run Achievements are unlocked and work fine. If I close Minecraft and reopen it though I get this crash report. (http://pastebin.com/UYEgCA91) All I know is that if I delete the stats folder in the .minecraft folder I am able to play, but it deletes all the Achievements. I had the thought that maybe the Achievements are trying to register again? Here is the code so you guys can take a look. (http://pastebin.com/ZZvDHf5P)

I'd be greatly appreciated if I could get rid of this stupid crash.

Sorry I did not know. I just really want this fixed.

Where do you call your AchievementHelper constructor?

What do you mean? I have a Mod base class that activates the class

@Init
Public load()
new AchievementHelper();

If that is what you mean.

You need to call that in your @PreInit method. If you don't have one, create one.

Do you think that might fix my problem?

@PreInit
public void preInit(FMLPreInitializationEvent event){
	ModMetadata data = event.getModMetadata();
	 data.name = "Pixelmon Goals";
	 data.version = "0.1";
	 data.url = "www.pixelmonmod.com";
	 data.authorList = Arrays.asList(new String[] {"Xwaffle"});
	 data.description = "This is a Side-Mod for the Pixelmon mod. It adds achievements for the mod.";
	 data.logoFile = "logo file .png";
	 data.credits = "Thanks a bunch to alexbegt for helping me!!";
	 data.autogenerated = false; //Ignore me, just keep me as false
        new AchievementHelper();
}

Is that good? Or should I change the public void preInit(FMLPreInitializationEvent event) to public void load?

It doesn't matter how the method is called. Seems fine to me.

I get the Same Crash. I did notice though in the Crash log is

 PixelGoal{0.1} [Pixelmon Goals] (PixelGoal.zip) Unloaded->Constructed->Pre-initialized->Errored

Can I see the full crash log, please?

hm, all I can say is your constructor gets called twice... so I advise add a System.out.println into it and see if the string you put there gets printed into the console more than once.

You know what! now that I think about it before I added the Achievements and I only had System.out in place of this.achievement I would get the line printed  twice.

*Edit* I checked it out and it only printed once. So that is not the problem.

    • Hello. Where can I find how Vanilla jump boost effect works. I have been searching this class for a few hours but have not found it anywhere. I just want to use it functional in my mod.
    • SubscribeEvent is for our EventBus system, Not sure what you mean by EventHandler as that's not a Forge related class.
    • Hi, has anyone dealt with gradlew :runClient crashing on start before? I've currently made a forge 1.18.2 mod with the latest mdk and I use IntelliJ IDEA 2024.1 as my IDE, and now whenever I try to run the `:runClient` command with gradle, it works at first, but then the process stops reporting this issue: `Caused by: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException` and `Caused by: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: 'int net.minecraft.util.Mth.m_14045_(int, int, int)'`. I've pasted the full runClient gradle log in this message. I investigated this issue further on the forge forums to find that not much people had encountered it, and those who did encounter it somehow fixed it with fixes that does not work for me like deleting cache and let gradle redownload the cache or anything and that this issue is caused by a "Corrupted Cache", or whatever the heck that meant. I tried cloning my entire repo (https://github.com/Type-32/PreciseManufacturing) to another directory to "start fresh" but the same issue persists. I created a new project with a clean forge mod 1.18.2 template but the issue persists. I tried all the fixes I can find but none of them worked. even `.\gradlew --refresh-dependencies` didn't work. I am getting desparate for any help now ~~this is so freaking frustrating~~ This is my build.gradle file plugins { id 'eclipse' id 'idea' id 'net.minecraftforge.gradle' version '[6.0.16,6.2)' id 'org.parchmentmc.librarian.forgegradle' version '1.+' } group = mod_group_id version = mod_version base { archivesName = mod_id } java { toolchain.languageVersion = JavaLanguageVersion.of(17) } minecraft { mappings channel: mapping_channel, version: mapping_version copyIdeResources = true runs { // applies to all the run configs below configureEach { workingDirectory project.file('run') property 'forge.logging.markers', 'REGISTRIES' property 'forge.logging.console.level', 'debug' mods { "${mod_id}" { source sourceSets.main } } } client { // Comma-separated list of namespaces to load gametests from.
