Posted March 18, 20205 yr I am working on tile entity to store items, and so far I have it setup to open a GUI on right click, and I have code for adding a slot to the container, but it does not add the slot and I am not sure why, it looks ok to me so I am not sure what is wrong Container Class: https://github.com/hijackster99/Ancient-Relics/blob/master/src/main/java/com/hijackster99/blocks/containers/PedestalContainer.java TileEntity Class: https://github.com/hijackster99/Ancient-Relics/blob/master/src/main/java/com/hijackster99/tileentities/TileEntityPedestal.java Main Class: https://github.com/hijackster99/Ancient-Relics/blob/master/src/main/java/com/hijackster99/core/ARBase.java https://github.com/hijackster99/Ancient-Relics/ Thanks for the help!

You are indeed correct that this does not add any slots. Changing the constructor to call the other constructor worked. Thank you!

I know you are supposed to make your own threads, but it feels kind of pointless since I am only asking one thing. Because OP didn't specify the version in which he is working with, I am assuming he is working with the latest version. Should I be using ItemStackHandler instead of IInventory too in 1.14 ?
