[1.15.2] java.lang.IllegalStateException: Removing entity while ticking!

I get a java.lang.IllegalStateException: Removing entity while ticking! error on this code:

player.changeDimension(DimensionType.THE_NETHER);

I understand why it's happening, but not how to solve it, can anyone give me a solution?

In a custom entities class.

Changed the code to be the same as the 

forge setdimension

command, but now it's stuck on loading!

I have no idea how to fix this, does it have to be on a specific side or something else?
