I had a problem with a 2x2 texture pack before, but now I realize that whenever I have an 8x8 or lower texture pack, my game crashes.

Here is the error report:

I know that it works when I'm in game and place the texture pack in it's folder, but when I quit and go back to Minecraft, I get the error report.

I looked on Google and around the Forums, but didn't find any answers.

I'm wondering:

Is this just me?

and

If not, will this be fixed? I think a lot of people like 8x8s, and I would like to use them.

Why not be a good boy and make normal 16x16s?

And we cant help unless we have a stack trace.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

I read it… a long time ago. The only reason I didn't get it is because my computer is broken and I'm on my iPad.

EDIT: got the error report. Look at my first or next post.

Do you see the stickied post in this board that says to read it or you may get banned.  Yes.  ;)

Got it!

Use a texturepack of sufficient size.

So you're saying that there is no solution and Forge is never going to work in this?

Aparently not, and as you are using Optifine this is his territory not ours.

ASparently from the looks of our code, if the dimensions for the texture is set properly before the update function is called it will work fine.

BUT Honestly its YOUR problem.

Stop using a texturepack thats < 16x.

Well thats a lie. Consideirng if you use optifine, with A texturepack that has custom lava/flames it will not have any issue.

And honestly, if you're saying that you MUST use a 2x2 to play MC, then well, you shouldnt be playing MC.

    • Version 1.19 - Forge 41.0.63 I want to create a wolf entity that I can ride, so far it seems to be working, but the problem is that when I get on the wolf, I can’t control it. I then discovered that the issue is that the server doesn’t detect that I’m riding the wolf, so I’m struggling with synchronization. However, it seems to not be working properly. As I understand it, the server receives the packet but doesn’t register it correctly. I’m a bit new to Java, and I’ll try to provide all the relevant code and prints *The comments and prints are translated by chatgpt since they were originally in Spanish* Thank you very much in advance No player is mounted, or the passenger is not a player.
