So first of all I use IntelliJ for my minecraft modding. So basically I've created models and they load in the game just fine. But you can see through the world. I know that there is a way to fix this but I haven't found how to fix it in IntelliJ. The black outline also doesn't surround just the model it acts like it's a full cube.

Note that IDEs don't matter in the actual programming part.

Either override Block#isOpaqueCube to return false call Properties#notSolid when constructing the block or make the block's voxel shape not fill up the entire 1*1*1 space.

1. Do not follow tutorials on YouTube, especially TechnoVision (previously called Loremaster) and HarryTalks, due to their promotion of bad practice and usage of outdated code.

2. Always post your code.

3. Never copy and paste code. You won't learn anything from doing that.

isOpaqueCube only exist in 1.12 : p

use block properties.notSolid instead, and yeah, modify the voxel shape should also work

Hmm I can still find isOpaqueCube in the Block class in my 1.15 workspace. Not sure if using it is a good practice though (since the not solid is set in block properties now, as demonstrated by a few vanilla blocks).

I'm currently on 31.1.44 (haven't updated yet). It might have been removed in more recent updates.

You have to adjust your VoxelShape.

DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
