My client side mods like Vehicles from Mrcrayfish has problems with server and it requires to install that to my self hosted server. All I want to do is just require mods that installed in server to be required for client side.

For further information: if i have one more extra mod than server it says 'mismatched mod channel list' and doesn't connect and either I need to uninstall that from my launcher or install that mod to server. But i don't want to do that for my client sided extra mods. I already have every mode my server had. I hope I could explain myself.

This is a thing mod authors decide. A mod can tell Forge that it requires to be installed on the server or not. Talk to the mod authors.

So if i installed a mod and server needs to do that even that server is not mine? Aren't any command lines or properties file for just disabling it so a mod can not tell Forge that it requires to be installed on the server.

No. This is a matter of the mod itself. If the mod requires installation on the server to function properly, then it will tell Forge so and Forge will issue this error message

So I need to ask for hypixel to install it if i had that mod installed on me or uninstall it?

If you're connecting to a server, modded or vanilla, and you have mods which are not client-side only, you either remove those mods, or ask the server if they'll install the mod (and Forge, if needed).

If the server does not have common mods installed, then you cannot have them when connecting to the server.

Hypixel is a vanilla server, and they will likely never change that, so you will have to remove the aforementioned mods if you want to play on Hypixel.

Vehicles is not a client side mod... where did you get that idea?

This is my Forum Signature, I am currently attempting to transform it into a small guide for fixing easier issues using spoiler blocks to keep things tidy.

As the most common issue I feel I should put this outside the main bulk:

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan.

For players asking for assistance with Forge please expand the spoiler below and read the appropriate section(s) in its/their entirety.
