Posted June 20, 20205 yr hello, I'm pigeonholed into something really dumb, I'm creating a test item called ruby, the problem is that I can't get it to show the texture of it, the exeption skips me and the texture appears black and pink, the json file exists, I have made a File f = new File ... with the path of the file and it detects it, the folders are well created, the file has the correct extension, I do not know what can cause the error, if you give me a hand I will be very grateful. resources structure: https://gyazo.com/d4a37a4642b6e23188432604e9318753 The errror: [20:18:58] [Client June 20, 20205 yr Are your folders nested folders (models/item/) or do you have one folder named with a . (models.item/)? Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
June 20, 20205 yr Your textures are in the wrong package/folder according to your screenshot. They should be in textures.item not textures.items, they were changed with 1.13 (I think it was) to match up with the same package structure as the models.
