[1.15.2]Textures, loot tables, and recipes not loading

Recommended Posts

Posted

I fixed my old issue, but now when I launch, the textures, loot tables, and recipes don't load. I'm sure they are in the correct location and named correctly, I checked 5 times already, I don't know what part of my code I should upload so I'm not going to upload my code. Anyone have any ideas?

Post or look through your debug.log, there may be errors in there.

Post your code as a github repository.

There's obviously something wrong somewhere! :)

Looks like you might have some modid mismatches going on in some of your model/blockstate files

Yea I see that now, I fixed it. Thanks!

EDIT: The models, recipes, and loot tables are now working but the textures still don't work, I don't know why it's searching for the texture file with a modid of pxloptestmod

I didn't actually fix it

Where can I change where it looks for the textures?

 Change the modid in the texture variable in the model json.

{
  "parent": "block/cube_all",
  "textures": {
    "all": "pxloptestmod:blocks/copper_block"
  }
}

Replace the 'pxloptestmod' with your modid, 'coppermod'. Do this for each model json.

Also, change 'blocks' into 'block' (and 'items' into 'item', if it exists).

"coppermod:block/copper_block" points to "assets/coppermod/textures/block/copper_block.png"

I did that, it doesn't work. The models work, but the textures don't.

What do you mean by the textures not working? The blocks, or the items? Please post an updated debug.log, and update the files on your GitHub with what you have modified.
