[1.14.4.]Check if the player is enough near to a block

Hello!

I am tryna make a type of WAYLA in my custom mod.

These are the steps I think:

1) Check if the player is looking at a block (so if the voxel shape is rendered)

2)Get the Block from the blockstate

3)Render blockitem texture, translated name and mod name in the main screen.

2 and 3 step should not be a problem for me. But I don't know how check if the player is looking at a block and if the Vox is rendered.

Have fun with that. Some block don't have (translated) names. Most crops can never exist in your inventory and so don't have names.

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked.

DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.

This is actually pretty easy to solve if the block exists in the world: IForgeBlockState#getPickBlock.

That works most of the time. Not in the sense that you won't get an item, but the last time I was doing something similar--as an example--wheat's pick-block stack is "seeds" (which thankfully are not named "Wheat Seeds" now but they hadn't been back in 1.10).

So you have to work around that particular problem.
