Hi there again, im just finishing my mod, i have my mcmod.info file in my package but it somehow wont load, it writes me in game that mcmod.info file deosnt exists. I never made mod far like this before so should i add something to my mod files?

Also, as i said im finishing my mod so i want to thank all peapol here that aswered my questions or any way helped me. I wont get this far without you :)

This is wrong:

 "dependencies": [Minecraft forge 1.5.2-7.8.0.725 +]

 

Needs to be:

 

 "dependencies": ["Forge"]

 

Two things:

1) You didn't put quotes around it (see the Authors tag)

2) I don't think the MCmod.info file handles version of dependencies, especially not minimums, assuming that it uses what's there at all.

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

I have a working mcmod.info file open in front of me, just to compare, because I couldn't see an issue with that line.

 

And I still can't.

Could this be the error?

I haven't used an mcmod.info withing eclipse but shouldn't it be outside of everthing?

(like in when you release the zip you put the mcmod.info in the root of the zip file)

Nope. They don't.

How is that possible? every time you place a folder with a same name as one already in another folder(or archive) it replace it or do not copy

umm.... what?
