How would I make an entity that has health and a hitbox?

Duh. I don't like looking at the vanilla code because they use names like field_5674_b.

yeah, there are a few of these, but if you look carefully and have some programming experience (unfortunately some modders do not because they just get others to write code for them or just follow tutorials) you can make an accurate guess to what they do.
