[1.16.4] PlayerRenderer add Layer

I want to render my custom Elytra but how to do that exactly.

I have created a layer class and I know from the forum that I have to add the layer to the player using the PlayerRender.

For this I use the FMLClientSetupEvent. But now im Stuck. My Code of the FMLClientSetupEvent:

What is worng?

 

    private void doClientStuff(FMLClientSetupEvent event) {
    	
    	Minecraft mc = Minecraft.getInstance();
    	EntityRendererManager manager = mc.getRenderManager();
    	PlayerRenderer playerRenderer = new PlayerRenderer(manager);
    	playerRenderer.addLayer(new EnderiteElytraLayer<>(playerRenderer));
    	
    }
