  1. It prevents all automatic AMD graphics driver updates - fixing the cause of it reverting by using the cleanup utility is better. Downgrading is a bad idea as you would need to go back to a version from May/June 2022 before it works, if not older, which doesn't support newer hardware and lacks many optimisations and bugfixes. (Latest drivers have about double the avg fps in MC vs the May/June 2022 ones) The way to reliably fix the issue is to update to the latest stable (aka "Recommended WHQL") driver version and use the AMD Cleanup Utility if it keeps reverting to the old broken beta version. Then to enable auto updates in Radeon settings.
  2. I thought it was a link about stopping windows update replacing the driver? The original poster already said the solution in the FAQ didn't work for them. My link to a solution that has worked for others in such cirucumstances. i.e. experimenting with downgrading to older drivers until you find one that doesn't crash the game. I don't have an AMD graphics card so I am no expert on this stuff.
  3. @warjort Please don't recommend people to disable automatic updates for drivers, as this is the cause of the problem (people installing a beta driver over a year ago and assuming it auto updates). The solution for when your driver gets reverted after updating is to remove it fully with the AMD Cleanup Utility first. Follow the instructions here, then update the drivers according to the FAQ once that's done. https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-601
  4. Graphics driver issue. If you really did try what is suggested in the FAQ then you need to contact AMD or your computer manufacturer/supplier to ask for help. Or try a specialised forum about graphic driver problems. e.g. https://community.amd.com/t5/drivers-software/windows-update-may-have-automatically-replaced-your-amd-graphics/td-p/608958
