Depends on what you mean, a modpack is just a set of mods and configs. Certain services expect the pack to be in a certain format.

Version named folders are not a thing anymore since Mojang's launcher has "Installations" that handle the job better

Love it every time someone cries malicious ad and they give us nothing to identify what ad we need to complain to adfocus about, they'd rather rag on us for trying to pay the server bills If there's an ad that you believe is malicious, please report it by providing an image that includes the address bar.

No, that's an old archived debug.log. Note that your OS may be hiding file extensions from you so it might look like the file is just called "debug"
