    Gah, it was fixed in the installer but Forge was never told to use the new installer when building, sorry.

    I believe this is symptomatic of trying to run a 1.17.1 server with an older version of Java, you need to use Java 16 to run 1.17.1

    What version are you using? If it's 1.17.1 you MUST use one of the launch scripts provided by Forge
