  1. That is the Minecraft version, you need to know the Forge version. Twitch puts its Minecraft files in Documents\Curse\Minecraft\ You have to make sure you add the exact text "logging":{}, the rest of it is trying to explain how to add that line while keeping the file readable to the launcher, easiest way is to find the end of the file where the last } is and put "logging":{} on the line just above and putting a comma on the end of the line just above THAT. Unfortunately there is a reason I say to close Twitch and keep it closed through these tasks, if Twitch is running and you try to launch the pack through it it will reset the file we are changing, and it will reset it to Twitch's version of the file which breaks Forge's logging. That's me trying to explain what the script does and how to use it, essentially it launches the Mojang Launcher the same way Twitch does, but my script doesn't reset the file we changed like Twitch would. To use it just save it to your computer and in your twitch files find minecraft.exe and put my script next to it, then double click my script.
  2. Please try to go through this step by step, which step are you stuck on? You copy/pasted a bunch and one is out of order.
  3. 1.12.2 only works with Java 8, the software does not care what reasons you have, it will only work with Java 8. How is downcasting an issue here?
  4. Please provide the installer log.
  5. 1.7.10 is no longer supported on this forum due to its age. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
  6. Java Edition and Bedrock Edition are not cross-compatible and Forge only works with Java Edition.
  7. Which part are you stuck on? I tried to put it as simply as I could.
  8. GitHub's Gist service accepts large files, but requires an account that you can make for free.
  9. Please read the "Logs" section of my signature below and provide the appropriate log in the appropriate manner.
  10. Please do not hijack threads, if you have an issue make your own.
  11. I’ve only looked at the links in the video description and I’m not happy. Setting up a Forge server is not that hard, simply get the installer from https://files.minecraftforge.net, run it, then run the installed Forge jar as if it was a vanilla jar. Beyond that make sure you only get mods from reliable sources, such as CurseForge.
  12. Who told you to install Spigot? Why are you asking me if the files look correct rather than testing if the server runs properly?
  13. The log I want is explained in the "Logs" section of my signature, please read it.
  14. 1.7.10 is no longer supported on this forum due to its age. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
  15. Spigot plugins will not be compatible with Sponge, why do you need Spigot?
  16. My forum signature is the thing below each of my messages, in my case it's made up of sections compressed into spoilers to save space and keep things readable.
  17. Oh my god the files, do NOT upload files to the forum en masse again. Please read my signature again, it tells you exactly which file I want and how I want you to share it. Also from your file dump it looks like you have not cleaned out your logs folder in a LONG time, please delete everything in it and run your client once more to get a fresh log.
  18. You do not need Spigot or Bukkit to run Forge mods. To my knowledge Sponge is the only plugin interface compatible with Forge, as the Sponge Devs built it specifically to have a Forge-Compatible version available.
  19. Please read the "Logs" section of my signature below and provide the appropriate log in the appropriate manner.
  20. Please don't hijack threads, especially old ones. If you have an issue make your own thread.
  21. Whatever Fullbright mod you're using is broken, report it to the author.
  22. Please read the "Logs" section of my signature below and provide the appropriate log in the appropriate manner.
  23. 1.8.9 is no longer supported on this forum due to its age. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
