Do your research, old versions mean you can’t simply take the latest version of everything, you need to find the specific versions that work. If you insist on using old versions you can’t always expect support.

Solved in Discord, his JAVA_HOME was pointing at a 32-Bit JDK.

Because Forge's MDK ships with a very old version of Gradle, one that was not designed to be compatible with Java 9+ AFAIK. If you need to keep Java 10 on your computer I believe Gradle will use whatever Java installation that the JAVA_HOME environment variable points to.

You need to use Java 8

Trying to open the installer in explorer? No no no, you open the folder that has the installer in it in explorer, not the installer itself. Usually this will be your downloads folder.

When you ran it with the instructions did it pop up with the same error window?

By "didn't seem to work" do you mean they ran without errors but didn't fix the problem?

This is a bug with Crayfish's Furniture mod, disable the welcome message in the Server's config and it should stop crashing.

latest.log is not the log I wanted, judging from your Forge version I wanted debug.log

If it's on your own computer just use localhost as the server address. Unless friends are joining you won't need Hamachi, and if you do have friends joining they will need your Hamachi address, you won't use it yourself.

What do you mean by "delete mod"? Is there still an issue?

How have you tried connecting to it?

I'm not 100% sure on this and someone else might correct me, but I think this might also be caused by your firewall or antivirus, is Java in the list of programs allowed through your firewall?
