  1. Are you still crashing? Are you still using 1.16.4 Optifine on Minecraft 1.16.3?
  2. Then use whatever Forge version is compatible with the most recent version of Optifine, it's their restriction not ours Alternately you could uninstall Optifine and be free of that restriction.
  3. You follow the solution that was already given...
  4. So it's not that you don't understand the solution, its that you refuse to apply the solution because you don't believe Optifine is at fault
  5. What about the solution confuses you?
  6. Did you try the same solution?

  10. The installer log should be in the same place as the installer file, either with the same name as the installer with .log on the end or just called installer.log
  11. In that case I guess try deleting /Users/[surname]/Library/Application Support/minecraft/libraries/net/minecraftforge/forge/1.16.4-35.1.4/ and running the installer again. If that doesn't work provide the installer log.
  12. Forge isn't compatible with Java 15 yet, use 8-14 in the meantime
  13. The only thing you should click on adfocus is the skip button in the top right, but if that prevents you from getting Forge entirely there are direct links in the "All Versions" section, just click on the circle-i next to the file you want.
  14. 1.10 is no longer supported on this forum. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
  15. Please provide debug.log (more info on where it is and how to provide it in my signature below, just expand the spoiler)
  16. Did you run the installer as sudo?
  17. Odd... run the installer again
  18. Then there's your issue
  19. Is it with a capital L or a lowercase l?
  20. Did you try the same fix?
  21. Do you have Java installed?
  22. Never put ! in a path when using Java... it's a special character
