Update Forge, 497 is really outdated.

You don't, there usually aren't forge versions for snapshots, and even if there are, it's mainly so modders can get to know new minecraft changes.

I am perfectly fine using multimc to connect to a custom modded server. There isn't a reason to use mineshafter. Thread locked.

We have a small mods section of our forum where modders are welcome to publish their mods. Unlike bukkit.org, we don't have a fairy godmother paying the hosting fees (OvermindDL1 does it at his own expense, a round of applause to him), so we can't go out and run something similar to dev.bukkit.org.
