  1. I’ve pretty much gathered that. From my observations it looks to me like my RAM is likely the reason. This is based on the fact that just running the game drops my available RAM down to just a little over 500mb. I want to double my RAM storage, but before I do, I want to see if you agree that my RAM is the problem.
  2. I assign 1G to the server, anything more and it doesn't run. Total of 8G on the server's system. 3.26G Total free RAM without the server running (also without other applications running except for Microsoft Edge browser) CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1065G7 GPU: Intel(R) Iris(R) Plus Graphics Software running at the same time as the server: Microsoft Edge, Minecraft Java-Edition, and File Explorer if that is considered software.
  3. I'm running the server on my computer so as far as the specs of the server's system, that would be my computer's specs. Correct?
  4. After I create the gist containing my debug log, how do I share it? Do I just copy and paste the link like this?: Server Debug Log (github.com)
  5. I did not change anything but somehow I can now connect to the server. How ever my server doesn't seem to be running very well. Its running very slowly. The console saying many messages like this, "Can't keep up! Is the server overloaded? Running 13202ms or 264 tick behind" The last thing the console said before forcibly crashing the server was, "A single server tick took 60.49 seconds (should be max 0.05)" I'm trying to attach the server debug log, but it keeps failing and giving me code -200 Also, is it improper to say server console, or should I say debug windo
  6. After running my Forge 1.16.5 server, when I try to join I am hit with this: Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. This is the first time I've had this happen to one of my servers so I'm not sure what to do. Please let me know if you need to see any server logs or screenshot of the server console.
  7. I have been able to run the server in vanilla, but after adding the mods the server is crashing during the start-up. I will attach the crash report. I also have screenshots of what the server console was displaying if that may be necessary. crash-2021-02-24_18.58.56-server.txt
  8. I really do appreciate all your help. Running the command I asked about above did the trick. The server console has opened and the mods have been successfully loaded on 1G and is running smoothly. My final question is, do you recommend that I create a .bat file with the command below for whenever I wish to launch my server again: java -Xms1G -Xmx1G -jar forge-1.16.5-36.0.42.jar The last time I used a .bat with a similar command, the prompt said that Forge.jar could not be found. So would I have to put in a cd to the server folder before the command above?
  9. To do that I would use: java -Xms3G -Xmx3G -jar forge-1.16.5-36.0.42.jar. Is this correct?
  10. Yes that was it. I gave it some time before I sent those images.
  11. Again, I'm sorry I don't know how to do that.
  12. Ran it through the command prompt and it said I didn't agree to the EULA. as you can see though I've already set the the EULA to =true.
  13. Sorry I'm not to familiar with console commands. I'm not sure what your asking me to do.
  14. I figured you’d say that lol. I tried to run that already after you said I need to run Forge.jar, I think that something is happening after running Forge.jar. However, I would think that I would see a server console window appear after running. I don’t see that though.
  15. I am either un-aware of Forge.jar's location or I don't have it for some reason. I've attached a screenshot of what I'm seeing in the server's main folder.
  16. I'm starting the server using the "minecraft_server.1.16.5.jar". I know that other many sources say to use a .bat instead but I couldn't get the .bat to work. Also, I may be wrong to say this, but I don't think it really matters if I use a .bat.
  17. I've been trying to create a Forge 1.16.5 server for a while now. When creating the server I'll drop the mods into the server's mod folder and run the server. However on the server list my server says its still vanilla. I'm not sure what to do.
