Minecraft 1.7.10 is no longer supported by forge. Try downloading a newer version, and report back if it is still glitching.

The model is rendering as a purple-pink cube right? If so there should be errors...

Do you have a method OnEntityWalk? That could be your problem

The java process(app)is using all of the cpu right? I don't know your problem, but something is up... restarting your pc doesn't help?

Do -Xmx3G -Xms3G in the launcher. Nothing else. If it tells you could not reserve enough space for heap space or whatever, lower the values.

Well I was just talking about the setting up of the mod, not the registry part, that is completely outdated... I also like the post that Ugdar suggested, it is very good. Follow Kriptikz way of doing things.

Also try googlesearching Bedrockminer's tutorials. I know they are for 1.8, but they are still useful for starting a mod.
