Install server forge

Greetings, first of all I apologize for my little English since I am making this post with the help of the translator.

I hope you can help me solve this error since I need to perform this installation to be able to upload the forge files to my paid host.

not sure which forge version you are using but java 17 is not supported yet by forge

The internet connection is correct. I am working with her right now. The antivirus or windows defender I have all the options or defenses disabled because I use programs that need the antivirus to be disabled very often.

Hi, thanks for helping me. If you refer to this URL https://launcher.mojang.com/v1/objects/a16d67e5807f57fc4e550299cf20226194497dc2/server.jar it allows me to connect without any problem. When loading this URL I download a file called server.jar

I have completely uninstalled the java and reinstalled it. I have verified the anti-virus (the only one I use is windows defender) and verified the firewall. Is there any other way to get these files from the forge server?

I understand apart from completely uninstalling and installing the java and checking anti-virus and firewall .. Is there anything else I can do to try to fix this error?

I'm sorry, I don't understand you .. (Let me explain, I have a paid host in which I don't have the Forge software added. I only have spigot, vanilla or custom). But I want to use forge so I can use forge mods For this I must load the forge in the host as custom.jar and thus be able to execute it with the client. With run.bat or sh can I load it on my host?

That is something to ask your 'paid host', as you're kinda paying them.

Great answer and great solution ... thank you very much for the help ... you can already give the post as solved. The answer I have gotten by another EXTERNAL means to this forum ... The problem came from the communication between the server forge and the download of launcher.mojang Installing a previous version if that works without any problem ^^ I recommend that you correctly check the current version of the forge server since it has problems ^^

this is not an error, your server host is just too lazy to support the "new server type", forge only moved one file iirc

It's not so much a problem with Forge as it is a problem with the way the JPMS (Java Platform Module System) works.
To use it properly Forge needs to have users run the server with rather complicated (and oversized) JVM args which just about no user will be able to write properly, so Forge generates and packs in the necessary scripts to do this.
