Posted August 4, 201213 yr Hello everyone, i am a minecraft user, and i really, really like the mod named"Balkon's Weapons Mod", and this mod needs Forge for work, so, when i try install forge, my minecraft has freezes with "DONE LOADING" screen. I tried install forge 10-15 times, so i give up. I decided to make a topic here, so maybe some of you can help. Note: I delete META-INF and add everything in Forge to Minecraft.jar, I tried same thing with McPatcher couple times, both of them has same error.
August 4, 201213 yr Never use mcpatcher. Ever. Did you get the latest? Did you install modLoader/MLMP? So, what would happen if I did push that shiny red button over there? ... Really? ... Can I try it? ... Damn.
August 4, 201213 yr I have the same problem. Clean minecraft.jar (v1.3.1) with only MinecraftForge-3.3.8.152-Client trying to be loaded. Locks up on "done loading..." screen. Erased META-INF from the jar and copied entire contents from .zip file to the jar file and tried to run.
August 4, 201213 yr haha, you guys make me chuckle. of course its not going to work. there are NO forge releases for 1.3.1 yet. what your doing is installing a release of forge for 1.2.5 into a 1.3.1 jar. you guys will have to wait for forge to release for 1.3.1, or just stay on minecraft version 1.2.5
August 4, 201213 yr Author Well, if forge for 1.3.1 not released yet, how can i go back to 1.2.5 ? I already updated to 1.3.1, and i can't get it back.

August 4, 201213 yr Why didn't you backup your old jars before updating? It is always a good idea to backup old jars. That way, if you have a problem with the latest release of Minecraft, you can jump back. I got jars from Alpha still. http://www.slothygaming.com/img/ota.png[/img] If your grammar is shit and you blatantly don't know what you're doing, I will not help you.

August 7, 201213 yr well he COULD email them to you, it would just mean you are doing something illegal (although, how illegal is it when you already own a copy of the game.....) Being noobish since 96, being dumb since birth!
August 7, 201213 yr If you are looking to backdate, you can always try MCNostalgia, I use it and it works. I've now got every version of Minecraft in it's own MultiMC instance.
