Prob its a easy functionality but I want to server execute a command when a player uses an item. I've already got how to use the item and I tried to execute a command, but I want the server to execute the command not the player bcs they wont be able to execute this command. Any help? Thanks

You mean you want to bypass the player's permission level check of the command?

Commands are always run server side unless you register them especially as client commands.

You can find something similar to your requirements in BaseCommandBlock.performCommand() which runs commands with permission level 2 - see CommandBlockEntity's inner class createCommandStack()

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.comย  You should also read the support forum sticky post.

Having something like this as an item, sounds like a security nightmare. The item can be easily transferred to other users.

Its gonna be a non craftable item and its for a server to play with my friends.ย

I asked bcs I tried to remove my op on the server and tp with right-clicking the item and it didnt work.So I guessed that if u didnt have the permission to execute the command it wouldn't work. So thats why i asked if exists any way to execute the command by server and not the client itself. Im gonna try what u said anyways :)ย @warjort

PlayerList#getOps -> ServerOpList#remove with Player#getGameProfile and Player#moveTo do the same thing for you without any hacky code

The tp is an example command. I just wanna do an item to claim chunks with the ftb chunks mod, and the way to claim is with commands so I thought doing it that way @Luis_ST
