Something is wrong with Forge 1.6.2

I used the installer and i changed my profile version to the latest version of Forge but when I try to enter minecraft it doesn't start up but the launcher says this:

Couldn't download http://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2/org/scala-lang/scala-library/2.10.2/scala-library-2.10.2.jar for job 'Version & Libraries'

If you know how to read the EAQ, you'll find that there is nothing wrong with forge.

In any case, you didn't.

Read the EAQ before posting! OR ELSE!

 

This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project.

You're not using the latest version of Forge.

If you were, it wouldnt be trying to download from that site.

Update. Hell, I even went back and retroactivly changed all refernces to that site.

If you downloaded the installer from us you wouldnt be getting that issue.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

      Do you have shaders enabled? There is an issue with the mod simpleclouds - remove this mod or disable shaders, if enabled

      Maybe you need to create file in assets/<modid>/items/<itemname>.json with content like this:   { "model": { "type": "minecraft:model", "model": "modname:item/itemname" } }
