Posted November 28, 20222 yr Heey, i have been stuck on this for a while now. But i have been trying to find a way to check if a user is in the overworld when executing a command. And ONLY the overworld. No modded dimension, nether or end.... I got as far as getting the 'level' or 'dimensiontype' but no way from there to check if its the overworld one. import com.mojang.brigadier.Command; import com.mojang.brigadier.CommandDispatcher; import net.minecraft.commands.CommandSourceStack; import net.minecraft.commands.Commands; import net.minecraft.network.chat.TextComponent; import net.minecraft.network.chat.TranslatableComponent; import net.minecraft.world.entity.player.Player; import yorickbm.skyblockaddon.capabilities.PlayerIslandProvider; if(!(command.getEntity() instanceof Player)) { //Executed by non-player command.sendFailure(new TranslatableComponent("commands.nonplayer")); } Player player = (Player)command.getEntity(); player.sendMessage(new TextComponent("You are in world: " + player.getLevel().dimensionType()), player.getUUID()); //Just prints the serialized class Edited November 28, 20222 yr by YorickBM Fix code snipped
November 28, 20222 yr player.level.dimension() == Level.OVERWORLD Boilerplate: If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one. If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com You should also read the support forum sticky post.
